INTERNSHIP

An internship with Brooks had me working with the production line, merchandising, and the creative design teams. With this internship I applied the techniques I have learned in my business and textile classes to keep Brooks updated with what is going on in the industry. In my business classes I have learned how techniques to close certain brick and mortar stores and use the money you are saving to reinvest it into the customer shopping experience. In this internship I learned the importance of connections and maintaining personal relationships with vendors and your fellow employees. Here at Brooks, family was not taken lightly. They emphasized being a team over everything and I had the ability and resources available to strive within this family. An internship with Brooks gave me the knowledge and resources to be successful in life and I will be sure to use said knowledge to obtain the perfect job for me in the future. Whether it be with Brooks or another company I can't wait to find my "family"!
